Abstract

       Several types of generalized monotone set valued maps are introduced and studied in relation with support functions. Basic characterizations are established for nonsmooth generalized monotone bifunctions. Applications are made to deriving necessary and sufficient conditions for generalized convexity by means of subdifferential and directional derivative.
