Abstract
Based on the theory of maximal monotone operators, we obtain some results on continuity and H\"older continuity of the locally unique   solution to a parametric generalized variational inequality in a reflexive Banach space.  Local boundedness and strict monotonicity of the involved set-valued mapping are  assumed. Our results extend some results of A. Domokos and N. D. Yen.
