Its purpose is to help the Institute to fulfill its fourth main task : to train young researchers in mathematics. However, before the foundation of this center, the Institute of Mathematics was considered as one of best institutions in postgraduate training of the Vietnam Ministry of Education. Many Ph.D. dissertations were defended successfully at the Institute before 1994. Now the Center for Postgraduate Training offers Master courses and Ph.D. training in all specializations in mathematics. The Center is having 100 master students, 44 Ph. students. From the foundation of the Institute of Mathematics, more than 100 Ph.D. and 8 doctoral thesis have been successfully defended  at the Institute.  Members: Assoc. Prof. Dr. sc.
